Dressing code for this ‘Big’ day:
Gal – Pink
Guy – White/Light-colour based / Shirty (coincidently, most of them wore with striped prints)
Coincidentally, instead of the normal recognised pure pink as PINK in general, almost 99% of the gals (regardless of age) were in CHERRY PINK! ^______^ … some spotty guys which included T (requested by 大妹) wore pink-striped shirt too.
And I guess the only odd one out from AL’s table (his friend’s gf/wife) tried very much to ‘appear’ low profile **evil smile … spoilty**
as usual, 小王子* was the centre of attraction too … other than the 2 main leads of the day.
* I guess 小王子 was a better nick than 花鼠仔 … since he was already outgrown in weight for his ‘age’, and moreover everyone treated him like a PRINCE or KING … which he was handsome in some way, but it would be better without the 三毛 kinda hairstyle =P
小妹 and AL’s solemnisation was at this restaurant called ACTE d’AMOUR, which was just behind the Fire Station Museum before processing up the slope towards the Registry of Marriage. Majority of us simply had no idea beforehand where the restaurant was until the day itself. All thanks to this sotong 小妹 who had no other info except the direction upon reaching the fire station. Anyway as long as the chauffeurs were given the directions, we just followed will do =P
It was a nice, cosy place. A section of the restaurant was block-booked by us as if it was a mini wedding ceremony going on.
The solemnisation was held just at the courtyard below
We were rather shocked when they played the Wedding Marching song as they walk down the aisle, which the couple wasn’t even expected of.
The solemniser was a very friendly and super-Onz man! Other than the vow, he would every now and then paused the ceremony and had the couple or the 2 witnesses get ready for photo shots and even taught them wat to pose with (T and AL’s sis’ bf as the main photographers, while I was took over the ‘role’ as the video clips recorder … and of cos other ‘unofficial’ photographers from the floor).
“huat ah!” as per instructed by mum … wat got to do with the event har? ***scratch head***
As the meal proceeded halfway thru, toasting started. But wat came after that shocked everyone again.
Who could imagine under such atmosphere with such romantic music to set for a 3x YUM SENG shout (arranged by the restaurant organiser)? Moreover this was just a ROM @_@
In the company of families, friends and loved ones, the whole event ended nicely and warmly ^___^
A few of us including me had made our long way to our car when 小妹 called. Reason being …
Everyone of them siam-ed from the bouquet which was aiming directly at me … thanks lor :-\
It was almost 4pm by the time we reached home. And since there were still some time before Cousins M and J left for the return coach at 7pm, we went down to the pasar malam for last min shoppings. Nothing much actually and so we settled down for a meal … cos none of us eat much during the buffet =P
And that was how Cousins M and J spent their 3D2N stay this round ^____^
